Are You the One? season 8 episode 7 video: Jenna and Amber bond
So where are we going to be seeing some of these people do now? Look towards other options, of course! That is where Amber and Jenna start to look towards each other, as evidenced in the new sneak peek below from Wednesday night’s new episode. They are going to spend some time together and look at the possibility of the two of them being a match. They do have a little bit in common — personality-wise, they seem to be a good fit, and their conversation comes across as easy. It doesn’t feel forced or like anyone is aggressively pushing the two of them to act differently together than they would be alone.
Also, they both love Harry Potter and that has to be good for something.
At this point in this season, a number of the Are You the One? contestants have gone through some stuff. They’ve witnessed some highs and lows and realized that a number of relationships within this world just aren’t right for them. Sometimes in life, you do need to make a number of mistakes before you end up finding the right person, and maybe such is the case here. Maybe what we’re witnessing here are some characters who have dealt with being hurt but are going to come out better because of it.
Who knows? By the end of this season, it’s possible that some of these people are saying “what blackout?” as they shrug their shoulders and prepare for whatever some of the future is going to hold. There is that part of us that wants to believe that this show can have happiness on the other side of the drama.
