America’s Got Talent video: Ansley Burns stooped again by Simon Cowell
In the video below (via GoldDerby) you can get a good sense as to what Ansley is bringing to the table this time around. The song choice this time is one in Carrie Underwood’s “Good Girl” that we know that she is a fan of. After all, Burns is a noted fan of the country superstar and she even got a social-media tweet from her after a performance from her in a car went viral.

Here’s where things get a little bit surprising — midway through the performance this time around, Simon stops her again. Why do this now? The preview stops before we have an opportunity to learn a thing or two about that, but we have to wonder already what the logic is to this. Maybe Simon is able to pull a better performance out of Ansley thanks to stopping her here, but what we’re wondering about at this point is whether or not he really should be stopping her now. Should the performance she brings to Judge Cuts be the performance that she brings?
Even in spite of whatever is going on here, we do think that there’s a good chance Ansley moves forward to the live shows … and that she may even stick around on the other side of that for a good while. She’s the sort of contestant that does really well on a show like this and we know already how there are MILLIONS of country-music fans out there who would vote for her if she continues to do songs like this.
No matter the result, we’ll get a good sense of what happens with Ansley at Judge Cuts when the latest America’s Got Talent airs on Tuesday night.
