Good Trouble season 2 episode 7 video: Callie’s new task

What is coming up on Good Trouble season 2 episode 7? With Callie at the legal aid clinic, she’s facing all sorts of highs and lows. There are some exciting things that come from her being there — it’s a chance to be in the thick of things, working in order to make lives better on the ground floor. Some people at the clinic are going to be easier to help than others, but this is the work that Callie wants to be doing.

In the sneak peek below, Callie has a chance to learn a little bit more about the relationship between Marcus and Teresa — one that is both personally and professionally complicated. Callie hears about how the two may have a romantic past, but also some speculation that Marcus may be slowly forcing out Teresa and she is going to be without a job there before too long. When Callie encounters Teresa at the end of the preview, though, she works hard in order to emphasize that Marcus works “for her” — a way of enforcing her power. Whether her job status remains this forever is to be determined, but this is a small little window into where things stand in regards to the show.

For Callie, we think her top priority at this place is going to be just focusing on the work — and making sure that she does an awesome job at it! It’s going to be easy to fall into some of the typical workplace politics but really, this is something that she needs to avoid if at all possible. It’s going to be a much better course of action for her to keep pushing some of the cases, putting her head down, and making sure everyone knows just how awesome she is. If she’s able to do that, we have a feeling that she will have a lot of admiration and respect moving forward.

While being at the legal clinic is very much different than being a clerk for Judge Wilson, Callie’s life there is not going to be any easier. Go ahead and expect that.
