Agents of SHIELD season 6 episodes 12, 13 preview: The epic finale!

Next week, Agents of SHIELD season 6 episodes 12 and 13 are going to air one right after the next. The finale is coming soon! It’s an epic two-hour event, one that is going to feature a race against time, a shocking battle, and some possible casualties. It could also take some members of SHIELD moving their story in a shocking new direction in order to get answers.

Below, CarterMatt offers up the official Agents of SHIELD season 6 finale synopsis with more news as to what’s coming:

With time running short, the team will have to go to hell and back to stop the end of everything. Who will survive?

Throughout this episode, we’re going to have a chance to see a number of different twists and turns — it is two hours, so we have to believe that the writers are going to put their all into this. Most of the hype that is out there already suggests that there is some awesome stuff coming. Think in terms of one of the biggest twists that we’ve seen. There isn’t a ton out there confirmed for the final two episodes yet, save of course for conversation that the finale will serve as a means to set up the seventh and final season. We’re not looking at a situation where season 7 starts up with a story that is totally fresh. In one way or another, it’s going to be linked and seeing some of the aftermath of that could prove fascinating … but we still gotta get there. Let’s just go ahead and hope that the finale works to get us there in an awesome way.

The promo below gives you a little more of a sense of what’s coming, including how we could continue to see fear used against some of SHIELD in the quest for Izel to get whatever it is that she wants in the end.
