Siren season 2 episode 16 (finale) spoilers: ‘New World Order’

Siren - Freeform

Are you ready for Siren season 2 episode 16 to arrive on Freeform? We hope so, since it’s going to be the height of every story. It’s the finale! This is where the stories move into more of a life-changing direction and every single move that the series makes matters. We know that there is a season 3 coming in the future, just as we also feel confident that Freeform likely knew about this in advance.

So what is coming in terms of the Siren season 2 episode 16 storyline? To help get you prepared for it, the network revealed the official synopsis recently — take a look at that below:

Ben faces a choice that has rippling consequences amongst mermaid, hybrid and human alike, as the truth about mermaids is exposed.

What is going to happen to the world of mermaids, and to Ryn in particular, on the other side of this? It’s going to turn the world into utter chaos and that much is clear. This marks an opportunity in order to explore all sorts of new possibilities moving into season 3, and we hope that there’s still going to be a way in which to still see Ryn alongside of the other characters. We’re sure that the twist within the finale is going to alter the series in a major way; yet, at the same time we don’t want to see any sort of seismic shift that turns Siren into a completely different show. There are so many reasons, after all, why it has become as popular as it is in the first place!

Expect a cliffhanger, expect some big character reveals, and don’t be surprised if you tear up here and there. This is a show that got to go bigger and bolder for season 2 and, on the other side of that, we don’t anticipate that they are going to be slowing things down at all. It’s only going to get crazier from here — and maybe we’ll learn a few more things about mermaids along the way.
