grown-ish season 2 episode 20 preview: Aaron’s fundraiser

Want to learn more of what’s coming up on grown-ish season 2 episode 20? For starters, Aaron is working to try and make the world a better place. This is an episode that could be one of the more important nights of his life courtesy of a powerful fundraiser. It’s bringing both money and attention to a worthy cause, but as is the cause with every fundraiser on television, things aren’t going to go as planned. You just have to hope that this doesn’t end up like one of those Real Housewives fundraisers where people end up getting into shouting matches with one another.

The good news is this — we’re probably going to have a few personal victories for a few different characters amidst the larger scope of chaos.

Aaron hosts an elegant fundraiser for his new “Black Minds Matter” cause, bringing everyone together for a night to remember. The gang is excited to meet the event’s special guest, especially Luca, and Zoey makes sure to do everything to get him the face time he wants. Sky is feeling overwhelmed by Jazz and Doug’s overattentiveness.

So what story will stand out the most when the dust settles on this episode? We would say Aaron’s first and foremost, just because of the position that he’s in as the host for the big occasion. However, we’ve got a feeling Zoey’s attempts to help Luca may end up putting her in the spotlight.

As for what Sky needs, think about some time for some self-care and to relax separate from Jazz and Doug to figure out where they stand. This is one of the most important storylines when it comes to the remainder of the season; we’re in the home stretch of things right now and you do want to see some element of resolution. Sky, like so many other characters, is in the process of figuring out the person she wants to be. She needs time to figure that out on her own other than just being a carbon copy of someone else.
