Suits season 9 episode 3 preview: Harvey fires back at Faye

Suits season 9 episode 3 is entitled “Windmills,” which at the moment makes us think mostly about The Bachelorette. That aside, this is an episode where the firm is going to do its best to fight back.

On this week’s episode entitled “Special Master,” we saw Faye Richardson fight against the firm with one of her biggest strikes across the bow possible — taking away the title and responsibilities of managing partner from Louis Litt. Now, the entire hierarchy of the firm is different — she’s silenced Louis and made it so much harder for any of the other characters to do anything that they want. It should also serve as a warning for Harvey, Donna, and others to not want to challenge her, but we never knew Harvey to back down from a fight.

Remember that there’s a moment from the trailer earlier this season where it seems as though Harvey’s about to be fired, and this episode could very well be where that moment comes to pass. If he takes a case for the specific purpose of making her look bad, don’t you think that this is going to end badly?

Be prepared for what should be a chaotic episode this time around, and whatever Louis’ “new opportunity” is could end up making things worse. We of course wonder if it’s something separate from the firm, but we have a hard time imagining him ever leaving given how devoted that he’s been to some of these people. This is a man who just asked for details on Harvey and Donna’s sexual encounter! You don’t want someone so close to you that they nose around in your business, but it is a reminder of how much Louis cares in his own weird way.
