‘The X Factor’ USA: Jillian Jensen, Tara Simon react to [spoiler]
Considering that the results concerning Jillian Jensen’s fate on “The X Factor” were revealed on Canadian TV last night, we know that there are some people who are going to go into this article already knowing as to whether or not she has made it to the live shows.
For many contestants on “The X Factor,” they are likely celebrating the fact now that they are in the top 16 on the reality show after trying to hard to make it; after all, it’s not an easy journey at all. However, there are even more contestants out there who are devastated over the fact that they were not put through … and we’re hearing from two of them now.
When it comes to Jillian Jensen, it’s a little bit of a tricky position; even though the show in Canada showed her losing out while CeCe Frey advanced, it hasn’t been shown yet in America and she can’t talk about it. However, she did try to take a positive route to talking about the show in a post on her Twitter today, and had some nice things to say about her category mentor in Demi Lovato:
“Been a fan of Demi & Selena since BARNEY :P haha, those girls both busted their BUTTS to be where they are today & I look up to them both so much”
Meanwhile, another surprisingly-eliminated contestant in Tara Simon, who often came across harshly on the show thanks to being confident (which we really don’t think is all that big of a deal), tweeted that she is trying her best to learn from some of her mistakes.
Are you still hoping for a twist where Jillian, Tara, or someone else can return to the live shows?

The more I think about it the more pissed I am with Demi and her lame, stupid decision not to keep Jillian. Demi is a child and you should not put her in a position to be a judge for a $5 mill prize show. Ridiculous! If the producers are smart, they will bring her back–if, indeed, that was their plan all along just to create some drama/ratings, etc. That’s “reality” show business for ya! What would happen if they asked her back and she says she is already off to other things and pursuing her career without x factor? What a twist that would be (although, it is probably written in her contract that she has to come back if offered….Clean this up Simon!

Do you think there’s any way to get through to Demi or X-Factor about Bringing Jillian Back? Some sort of petition? That was Demi’s dumbest move. She not only missed the boat vocally by letting go such a unique, well-rounded, voice, but strategically she let go of an artist with the biggest viewer fanbase, one of the few artists who connected with the viewers on many levels. If Simon were the judge, there’s no way he would have let Jillian go, for ratings alone!

Yes I believe the show is rigged. And they underestimate the fans. We stand by our contestants. Go Jillian and Jefferey the true talents. X factor is going down bad, bad choice. christmasiscoming.notlong.com

It was ignorant sending her home. Shes the reason along with her story ppl connect with her and the show. Jillian is one to root for and vote for each week. Bring her back or lose lots of viewers. Demi must have been high that moment

Demi, I don’t know what you were listening to, but obviously you missed a bit. Jillian way over sang Cece. I would never buy a CD from Cece, nor waste my time and money to go to a live show, she is too all about her, and the tone hangs in her singing, there is nothing there. Jillian’s CD is on my list.

Demi is a fool. It should have been Jillian, Jennel, CeCe, and Paige.

Demi, I will always love you, but you just made one of the biggest mistakes in your life. You won’t find someone like Jillian, ever. She’s got an amazing voice, and put up with bullying for so long. She’s so strong, beautiful, and talented. I’m going to support Jillian 100%. I hope she continues making music. She’s been my inspiration since day one.

WTF, Demi?
You should have left the decision to keep Jillian up to the American voters. Bad call. She truly deserved that much.

Whoa. This, plus the network issues, makes me really not care to watch the show anymore…

I really don’t understand Demi’s decision to not have Jililan in the top 16; especially given the the 5 others in the group. Not sure what Demi was looking for in Paige…we already have Rihanna (who is much better) and her stage presence makes us all nervous; or the black country singer (who is novel, but not memorable as a performer…I can’t even recall his name).
I haven’t heard a voice like Jillian’s since Melissa Ethridge…so there is definitely a market niche for her. And she was the most emotive singer in the group, which is always an amazing quality when you find it.
Demi: You seriously dropped the ball here.

You made a mistake Demi. She had a great voice and presence. I don’t understand why you didn’t keep her. I also don’t understand why the judges didn’t select Jeremy Gutt. Two shocking eliminations.
