Ink Master season 12 episode 8 preview: Are Cam Pohl, Laura Marie aligning?
Instead, the preview for the next new episode suggests that the season could be continuing to tell the story of Cam Pohl, Laura Marie, and Creepy Jason — three of the artists who are incredibly talented and seem to have a good relationship across the gender lines that this season has established with it’s twist. What makes the three stand out is their application, but also their creativity. They’re unafraid to take big swings in there, even if not all of them land.
At this point, we wouldn’t be shocked if these three are the final three (especially Laura who we think could win the show), but we would not go so far as to call this an alliance. It may be nothing more than a friendship. Laura reminds us that this is a competition, so we gotta imagine if she has an opportunity to take down a threat, she is going to find a way in order to do so. Laura could beat both Cam and Jason in a final three, but why not make the road even easier for yourself? If the tables are turned and the guys have a chance to target Laura, we have to believe they’d at least consider it.
The Ink Master season 12 episode 8 preview also suggests that this is going to be an emotional episode for a couple of people — including Cam, who is upset that he’s been targeted for much of the season. We understand that it’s hard, but it’s also hard to sympathize when he has been so arrogant that he’s made himself into a target. If you talk up how good you are, won’t people come after you? Isn’t that the point of the show?
Ash Mann, meanwhile, is struggling after just coming out of the bottom and she’s had a tumultuous run this season. What we’ve seen from her this season is someone who is very talented — she’s put up some fantastic work. She also may just need a little more self-confidence if she’s going to make it further into the season.
