Suits season 9 video: Gabriel Macht, Sarah Rafferty talk what’s ahead
In the video below via USA, Gabriel Macht compares the partners of the firm as the Breakfast Club all locked in detention — with Faye Richardson from the New York Bar serving as the person overseeing them. Katherine Heigl really puts it best when she notes that if this was the real world, Faye would be looked at differently. She’s not wrong with anything that she’s doing! It seems like there are some shady things going on at the firm and she’s there to put a stop to it. It’s similar to what we saw with Mike Ross and Anita Gibbs — Gibbs knew that Mike had broken the law and was relentless in her attempts to take him down. That’s what makes Suits so fascinating — not all of the villains are your prototypical bad guys who are out for world domination or anything of the sort. Some are doing what they believe is the greater good.

Also in this video, Sarah Rafferty and Macht talk about the Harvey/Donna romance and where things go now that the two are together. It doesn’t seem like there are any plans to split them up, and the two may be on the same page when it comes to the Faye Richardson situation even more than they would first realize. Macht discusses, as well, the return of Patrick J. Adams to the show as Mike and how nice it is to be able to work with him again. Adams admits that it was hard to leave the show and his friends behind after season 7, but he knew that it would be nice to come back and help to send it off into the sunset. That’s what he will do in at least one episode. (He’s confirmed for the middle of the season, and may return for the finale.)
