Blue Bloods season 10 filming spoilers: Weathering the storm
Last night, there was some pretty brutal rain happening in the city, and that is to go along with the unusually warm weather. Combine those two things and then also humidity and you have a recipe for disaster.
No matter the weather conditions, Donnie Wahlberg was still out there working as Danny Reagan in Staten Island. He even posted photographic proof on Twitter. This has turned out to be a pretty active week already for Donnie, given that he also did a stunt involving a flaming car that he documented on social media. Thank goodness for Donnie being so active on social media and willing to share scoop about Blue Bloods otherwise it would be pretty quite on the filming front.
The season 10 premiere will be eventful for Danny as he continues to be the show’s version of an action hero. While Jamie and Eddie do tackle their own fair share of problems out in the streets, Danny’s doing so more than anyone. While we’re sure that eventually he will move up the ranks some, we’re not sure we want to see him away from being a detective any m soon. He’s so fantastic at it and he navigates this environment so well. There’s a fearlessness about the character, as well as a willingness to constantly put himself in harm’s way in order to ensure that some other people are protected.
Expect more goodies from Donnie throughout the weeks ahead, as he’s always game to share some of what he’s working on. Be prepared for a season full of action-packed moments, but also personal struggles for Danny as he tries to figure out what he wants his future to be. His kids are getting older, he’s starting to move forward personally, and he may want to find love again at some point in his life. It shouldn’t be rushed, but it is worth thinking about.
