Bachelor in Paradise season 6 trailer: Blake’s love triangle, a fistfight
One of the first surprising things shown off in this trailer is that all of a sudden, Blake — one of the popular guys from last season of The Bachelorette — could end up suddenly becoming the main adversary. It’s kind of like the famed expression where you either die a hero or live long enough to become the villain. If Blake’s Bachelor Nation career died after Becca’s season, maybe he comes out of this feeling totally different. As it is, though, he’s in a spot where he’s going to be torn apart over some of his actions.

Meanwhile, there are some other issues that are going to arise, including some that are physical in nature. It looks like there is a legitimate fight that breaks out this season, one that isn’t some sort of corny brawl between dudes like we’ve in the past. Whatever happens here will almost certainly lead to the people involved getting booted from this show altogether; that’s one of those real reality TV things that is just not going to be tolerated.
Then, there is the part of the trailer that involves Demi being in a relationship with a woman — something that feels very much like a Bachelor Nation first. It’s something that does open the door ever so slightly for more representation on this show, though it does feel like we’re still very far away from having an LGBTQ lead for the franchise. This is mostly shocking in that it’s not something that Demi talked about during her first go-around on the show with Colton Underwood as a lead. We’re finding out about it now — this may just be the time that she wants to explore that part of herself and it is up to her as to when she does want to share that.
