Santiago continues to be aggravated with the neighboring hotel and decides to take matters into his own hands. Meanwhile, Danny becomes jealous of Alicia’s new relationship, and Carolina reveals to Yoli that she has information on their father.

So what’s the secret that could be buried the deepest on the other side of all this? There are a few different ways that you could look at it. For example, maybe you proclaim that Santiago ends up being a person who does something drastic in order to ensure that the nearby hotel doesn’t get everything that they want. Or, maybe Danny does something to interfere with Alicia’s relationship to ensure that he scores some sort of personal victory. Finally, maybe Yoli scrambles in order to ensure that the information that’s out there doesn’t progress any further.

With us being around the halfway point of Grand Hotel season 1, one of the things we know for sure at the moment is what this show (and some of these characters) are capable of. The big challenge is taking what we know and watching them expand upon it — stretch even further the limits of what some of these people could do. That’s where they can deliver the sort of twists indicative of this genre.
