Supernatural season 15: Should Mark Sheppard return as Crowley?

For all of those wondering, though, there seems to be a willingness on Sheppard’s end to come back and do more — provided there is a “good reason” for him to return. That’s something that the actor alluded to in a post on Twitter following today’s panel. We know that there are reported comments from the press room that the executive producers feel like his death was handled perfectly … but that hasn’t stopped them from bringing back before. We thought that Bobby’s original death was great but they still found a way to reintroduce him to the show.
We’ll see where things go over the next few months — we clearly don’t expect Crowley to be coming back at some point in the early going in season 15, but a little bit down the road? We wouldn’t rule that out in the slightest right now. (With that being said, we almost hope that Crowley’s return isn’t spoiled if it happens — it would be the sort of thing that genuinely shocks the entire fandom and it gives you that additional Easter egg.)
At today’s SDCC panel, Supernatural did reveal that some characters are coming back in between Amara, Rowena, and even Sam and Dean’s half-brother Adam. This is the news that generated the most excitement, given that it’s been unresolved for such a long time that it never felt like we were going to get all that much in the way of closure here. With this being the final season, though, it’s likely causing the writers to look back at everything that they’ve done in the past in order to tie up as many loose ends as possible.
