Outlander stars Sam Heughan, Graham McTavish teaming up for podcast

Outlander season 4

You may not be seeing all that much of Graham McTavish on Outlander these days, but he and co-star Sam Heughan are joining forces once more!

In a new post on Instagram, McTavish confirmed that he and Sam are embarking on a new podcast journey together in “Clanlands,” which will discuss Scotland’s history, its landscape, culture, and so much more. It’s a story of Scotland brought to you by two fantastic Scottish actors.

Personally, we are looking forward to having a chance to dive into this when it comes out. As someone who grew up in America and watches television in part for a living, we don’t have a lot of time to learn about Scotland on a daily basis. This is an opportunity to do that on the go, and from two familiar voices we already know and love. It’s the accessibility of this that makes it so appealing. Sam and Graham each have established audiences and both have exhibited a love of Scotland. As a huge geography geek, we’ll be especially curious to see if the two discuss some remote parts of Scotland we don’t hear and see discussed all that much in different mediums.

In the end, Clanlands is an opportunity for education, but at the same time also entertainment. We’re curious to see what the episodes look like and also the frequency of them. We know that both of these guys are extremely busy, so we’ll take new episodes of it virtually whenever we can. We also wonder how many guests they’ll bring on board for some other discussion. For now, all we know is that Clanlands is coming soon — there is no firm launch date as of yet.
