The Flash season 6 spoilers: Keiynan Lonsdale returning as Kid Flash
While at San Diego Comic-Con this weekend, show executive producer Eric Wallace confirmed (via Syfy Wire) that you would see Lonsdale back as Iris’ brother/Kid Flash for multiple episodes this season. This is the first time since the start of season 5 that we’ll see Kid Flash, and it shows that he is a character who could flutter in and out on the series for some time.

Lonsdale originally appeared on the show back at the midway point of season 2, and since that time, he’s served as a series regular and also a guest star. He’s also appeared as a part of Legends of Tomorrow for a memorable stint. Given Wally’s superpowers, he’s always going to be an important person to Team Flash and someone they can bring back for important stories.
Are there some other people we’d love to see again on the show at some point? Sure, with Julian being fairly high up on the list since we enjoy Tom Felton so much. Meanwhile, the Reverse-Flash can come back at any moment given that Tom Cavanagh is still a series regular. He will be playing another new version of Wells this go-around, so that’s something more to look forward to. Nobody on this show gets to embrace as many different versions of the same character as this guy and it has to be a thrill in order to do this.
The Flash premieres on The CW this fall — if you didn’t see the San Diego Comic Con sizzle reel (which includes a first look at Bloodwork in human form), take a look at that below. If this holds, we’re going to be in for a heck of a crazy season — just remember that the Bloodwork storyline is meant to only encompass the first half of the season leading up to the epic Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover event.
