The Flash season 6 spoilers: Sendhil Ramamurthy playing Bloodwork

Flash season 4

Just in case you were wondering who the Big Bad for The Flash season 6 will be, prepare to meet Bloodwork!

During San Diego Comic-Con today, it was confirmed that Heroes and Beauty and the Beast alum Sendhil Ramamurthy will be coming on board the CW as one of the most fearsome foes we’ve seen to date. Per TVLine, the show’s version of Dr. Ramsey Rosso is a brilliant scientist who was at one point a colleague of Caitlin Snow. They eventually meet up again in an unexpected way but, soon after that, Ramsey’s desire to “defy the laws of nature” leads to him going down a dark road … one that will make him into a powerful foe who has the ability, at least in the comics, to manipulate blood. We cannot be killed via conventional means and he’s also able to destroy the blood of others. He is a powerful adversary in that he can cause someone else’s body to give up on them. It’s a cerebral villain and one that has a more specific sort of ability set than what we saw from Cicada last year.

Of course, we don’t necessarily think that Bloodwork is going to be the only villain we see Team Flash face off against over the coming season. Won’t there be others? We have to believe so, given that the Reverse Flash is out there and that is without even throwing in there everything from Crisis on Earth-X.

One thing that we know for sure is this: We love Sendhil Ramamurthy. He is a giving actor who makes people around him better and he brings so much intelligence to everything that he plays. It’s because of what some of his characters can do for others that makes some of their transformations all the more horrific. Just remember that he also ended up becoming the bad guy when he was on Beauty and the Beast way back when.
