Suits season 9: Gabriel Macht, Sarah Rafferty on Harvey, Donna’s future
Through the past few years, watching these two move towards being together has been a real exercise in patience. It was clear from the start there was some serious chemistry between them, and like many others out there, I’ve wanted them to be together for years before it happened. that’s why it’s easy to be happy about the two being together now and getting a chance to see what the future holds.

Based on most of the comments that are out there at the moment, it also doesn’t feel like there are any plans to split the two characters up anytime soon. Speaking via ET Online, here is some of what Sarah Rafferty had to say:
“It was an eight-season build-up, so you certainly feel the pressure of that … The will-they-won’t-they is a dynamic in itself, so it was great to play that. But I think knowing that there were 10 [episodes] left, it’s much less scary to do it. For me, it’s just time to let them be happy and let’s just go out on that note.”
As for Gabriel Macht, he gives a statement that should be music to viewers’ ears:
“The fans will be happy … We’ve all done, as an ensemble, a really good way of wanting the fans to just want a little more because that’s what you want. As soon as they get what they want, then they’re done. So, for the last season, I think it made sense.”
Do I think that Suits could have provided more of Harvey and Donna together through the past eight years? Absolutely, at least one more year. I understand that they want to have a variety of relationships and with the show already having Mike and Rachel’s romance, maybe they didn’t want to overload on this part of the show in the early going. No matter the reason let’s all be happy that it’s here now and through the remaining episodes, you’re going to have a chance to see that grow.
