Elementary season 7 episode 10 spoilers: Is Odin tricking Holmes, Watson?
What we’ve seen from James Frain’s character so far this season is someone who will do whatever he can to get what he wants, including manipulating any situation and twisting the wills of those around him to lead towards his desired goals. He’s crafty, wily, and dangerous in a way that few other characters are. He’s got so much money and power that he can buy security in a way few others can. He finds a way in order to create even more control for himself, and that’s probably why he thinks that he can control Holmes and Watson. Why else on this episode try to convince the two of them to get back on board his crime-prediction technology?
Below, CarterMatt has the Elementary season 7 episode 10 synopsis with some other news when it comes to what lies ahead:
“The Latest Model” – Holmes and Watson receive a shocking request to collaborate from their foe, Odin Reichenbach, when the tech billionaire asks them to test his new crime prevention system. Tasked with investigating someone the program predicts will soon commit a crime, the duo worries Odin will take drastic action before they conclude their inquiry, on ELEMENTARY, Thursday, July 25 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.
We don’t think that this is going to work well for Odin, mostly because A) he is the Big Bad of the season and B) Sherlock and Joan are not the sort of characters who can be easily duped. They are too consciously aware of what’s around them. Also, it doesn’t matter if Odin’s technology ends up working anywhere near as well as he thinks it will. The ends may not justify the means — that’s been one of the big problems for the bulk of the season. That’s why we could be very well building towards some sort of showdown.
