The Rook episode 4 preview: What does Myfanwy discover next?

What lies ahead on The Rook episode 4 on Starz? As you certainly know at this point, this is a show all about a mystery — and it’s tied very much to the past of one Myfanwy Thomas. Through the first three episodes, we’ve learned a good bit about the bridge incident, possible betrayals, and the struggle to find real, tangible clues for Myfanwy to grasp onto. We’ve also learned a good bit about this world, whether it be Monica doing her best to uncover the secret EVA auctions taking place or Gestalt working as almost the perfect field operative. With their collective consciousness, they possess this ability to work in tandem that almost no one else has … or could really ever dream of having.

Within The Rook episode 4, more information will be revealed about Myfanwy’s past … but we wouldn’t say that it’s coming via all the answers. There are some things that the producers want to hold onto for down the road.

We saw during the episode tonight a little bit of the “twisted” psychiatrist and the relationship that he had with EVAs and also the Checquy. This could be someone who is responsible for having much of her mind wiped — or at the very least, transformed her into someone who was different than who she was. This is someone who can give her so much more information than she ever had before, provided of course that she wants it.

As for the other stories, we feel like getting more of an understanding of Peter is essential. Meanwhile, the same goes for seeing what Monica can do to dig deeper into the auction trade and what is going on.
