‘Mad Men’ season 6 spoilers: Hints from the latest Elisabeth Moss sighting

With “Mad Men” not returning to AMC for at least several more months, it is hardly an understatement at all to say that trying to get scoop on the upcoming season is pretty much next to impossible. Then again, it would be next to impossible to get scoop about it even if it were filming, thanks mostly to creator Matthew Weiner being notorious for keeping his stories under wraps.

So what do we have to report today? Basically, it has to do with something as simple as Elisabeth Moss’ hair. When we last saw the actress at the 2012 Primetime Emmy Awards last month, she was sporting a blonde ‘do that had everyone wondering whether or not there was a major change coming for Peggy Olsen beyond just leaving SCDP for a rival company. With Peggy feeling a newfound surge of confidence, it would not be that great of a surprise to see that reflected in a makeover.

However, some new photos that surfaced of the actress out recently may serve to suggest that just as she is back to being a brunette, Peggy will remain the same. She will have a look that is likely still pretty similar to what she had in season 5, and most of the changes for this character are probably going to instead come courtesy of her relationship with Don Draper. While she always looked at him as some sort of a mentor, this is going to be a little bit more of a complicated position for her now given that he is in many ways the enemy. Personally, we’re looking forward to seeing some epic chess matches here over clients, since Don is one of the few who really recognizes just how talented Peggy is when it comes to creating ad copy.
