The InBetween episode 6 preview: The search for peace

What’s coming up on The InBetween episode 6? Since we are so far in the season now, we’ve got the base information on who a lot of these people are. Now, we’re moving towards the next order of business — trying to figure out what makes some of these people tick.

What unnerves Cassie? We’ve seen that there are some visions that haunt her more than others, and the idea of a real-life serial killer may haunt her because of the visions that lie within her head. Then, there’s also going to be a more personal situation within this episode that needs resolving. Cassie’s going to have her hands full within this episode more so than any other point this season. Be prepared for a lot of drama as she tries to unravel all of this.

07/17/2019 (10:00PM – 11:00PM) (Wednesday) : When a serial killer strikes again, Cassie (Harriet Dyer) allows her visions to lead Tom (Paul Blackthorne) and Damien (Justin Cornwell) toward the killer, leading to an unexpected twist in the investigation. Cassie also helps an old friend search for peace after the death of a loved one. TV-14 V

What is the current state of the show’s ratings?

At this point in the show’s season 1 run, we’re starting to get a little bit worried. The InBetween got off to a good enough start, but last week’s new episode is a serious cause for concern. We’re talking about an episode that generated just a 0.3 rating in the 18-49 demographic. Typically, shows that draw this sort of rating on a major network get canceled. There’s no other way around it.

Is there still hope for The InBetween? If the show can establish some real momentum and pick up some more viewers throughout the rest of the summer, anything is possible. It’s just run into a lot of problems. For starters, it had to take some weeks off earlier this year because of some various preemptions. Following that, it also had to air last week on the day before July 4 — a terrible time for any show to come on the air.
