Big Brother 21 live feed spoilers: Christie hears Cliff’s morning monologue

Cliff Hogg

The most notable Big Brother 21 live feed moment of day 21 has nothing to do with the vote for this week. Instead, it’s got more to do with Cliff screwing himself up with his morning live-feed tradition.

One of the things that we love about feeders sometimes is that they work hard in order to take care of us watching at home. That includes sometimes speaking directly to us. That’s happened with Cliff for most of the season with his “Cliff Notes,” where he goes into a room and talks all about some of his various thoughts and feelings. It’s a good little gift for all of the morning live-feed viewers to get a sense of where his head is at.

Here is the problem with doing it — you run the risk of someone catching you! This is why Mike Boogie probably did something similar outside. You can easily hear when someone is coming out and, beyond that, the backyard is big enough that you don’t have to worry about someone being able to listen in.

Alas, this morning Christie got a good sense of some of what Cliff talked about to the feeders by listening in on the other side of the door. He talked about some of the pairs that are in the house and how Tommy and Christie are more of a duo than he first realized. He also discussed his alliance with Nicole and Ovi (“The Fellowship,” or “The Fellowship of the Zing” if you want to go all-in with the name) and how he hoped to work with Nick or Sam at some point as things continued to move forward.

Because of Cliff’s morning monologue screw-up, Cliff has lost a lot of trust with Christie and some other people within Gr8ful … but we’re not sure that it changes his spot in the game all that much. It’s more of a funny moment for the CBS show than anything else, since Cliff, Nicole, and Jessica were going to be targeted the next few weeks anyway.

Here’s the takeaway — Christie realizes that people are (shocker) playing their own game in Big Brother and they’re not all just catering to what the dominant alliance wants. Yet, they are still catering so much more to it than they really should be … much to our frustration.
