This is an episode that seems to be bringing you a lot of stories all at one time, but that is fairly indicative of the formula that you tend to get for a lot of the shows within the greater Walking Dead universe close to either a finale or midseason finale. The tendency seems to be to give you more isolated, standalone episodes in the middle of the seasons for the sake of variety but make sure that most of the seasons conclude with something that creates a little bit more of a larger total impact for most of the group.
With Fear the Walking Dead season 5, the prevailing mystery seems to revolve around who some of the survivors are facing off against. Who is the metaphorical threat at the end of the rainbow that everyone is going to have to take on? Hopefully, we’re going to get some answers through the upcoming two episodes that constitute the first part of the season … and we imagine that there are going to be more surprises that are coming your way. While we do worry about Fear the Walking Dead becoming too much like the flagship version of the show, we’ll admit that we are excited to get more of Dwight’s story and get a better sense of some of the different stuff that is coming up for him.
