‘The X Factor’ USA: Khloe Kardashian, Mario Lopez confirm hosting gig

Finally, the long wait for more information pertaining to “The X Factor” hosting search is finally over. It’s been a road littered with all sorts of rumors, whether it be speculation that the show was worried about money to there being more than a dozen people in the running. However, we can now finally say that the reality show has picked the people who are going to join L.A. Reid, Britney Spears, Demi Lovato, and Simon Cowell for the live shows starting on November 1.

It was pretty much confirmed that Khloe Kardashian along with “America’s Best Dance Crew” host Mariop Lopez were going to be the show’s co-hosts earlier this week … and here is what both of the stars are now saying about their new responsibility online.

Khloe Kardashian (via her blog) – “I’m a huge fan of the show so I literally fell over in my chair when I heard that I was being considered for the role … The show already has such an incredible panel of judges and it is truly an honor to have been given this opportunity to work with them.”

Mario Lopez (via Twitter) – “Alright guys, it’s official… I’ll be hosting @TheXFactorUSA! Looking forward to working with @SimonCowell and the rest of the amazing team.”

On paper, we’re pretty sure that both parties really do have what it takes to handle the hosting duties without a problem, and they both are energetic as well as charismatic. The only real question we still have is whether or not they have the right chemistry, and also just how they are going to handle a Rachel Crow sort of situation where there is a 13-year old melting down on stage while producers are screaming in their headsets.

Do you think these two are the right choices for the show?
