Queen of the South season 4 episode 6 preview: Teresa’s truce
At a certain point, there is such a thing as “too much.” There is a breaking point where characters start to realize that the juice is not worth the metaphorical squeeze. That is where we could be now moving into this episode, entitled “La Mujer en el Espejo.” (Here’s a quick fun fact — this title, translated to mean “The Woman in the Mirror,” may be an homage to a Colombian telenovela. Perhaps the Queen of the South writers have a little bit of nostalgia in their hearts?)
If you want a few more details now surrounding what’s coming up, we suggest that you take a look at the Queen of the South season 4 episode 6 synopsis below:
Dealing with the losses of a drug war, Teresa and Dumas finally strike a truce.
What does this truce represent? It doesn’t mean anything that is permanent. Think in terms of war — or if nothing else, experiences playing Sid Meier’s Civilization games. There’s something within those games known as a Cease-Fire, which stops conflict but is hardly a treaty. It just may be enough to ensure that the parties can regroup, but we don’t want to take stock in anything more than that.
Let’s face it — Queen of the South still has a long ways to go this season, so much so that you have to think that another war is coming. Maybe it doesn’t involve Dumas, but something is going to bring Teresa and her whole operation to a vulnerable place. If that doesn’t happen, then you have to wonder what they’re turning the show into! This isn’t going to suddenly be the story of Teresa sitting around, innocently running a bar and turning it into a USA Network version of Cheers. Not gonna happen.
