The Code episode 10 preview: The story ahead of ‘Secret Squirrel’

The code

What is coming up on The Code episode 10? We can rejoice first and foremost the fact that the show is back on the air! CBS put it on a long and rather random hiatus earlier this summer but now, we’re going to see everything else that the network has in store for us … starting with the next installment entitled “Secret Squirrel.” This will always come across in our head like a reference to the cartoon, though we full-well understand that it may mean something rather different within the context of this show. What matters more than anything else is that through this episode, you will have a chance to see a case that is like no other. It’s one that revolves around one of the most dangerous terrorists in the world, one of the most dangerous places in the world in Guantanamo Bay, and then also a mystery that makes this case so much harder than it should be.

When you consider the work that the cast of The Code does, you would think that everyone involved in the case would get the access that they need. It’s the lack of access in this upcoming episode that is the most jarring, especially since you would think all parties involved would want to make sure that justice is properly served. Throughout this episode, there may be a specific question you’re left to wonder: What are the people behind the scenes trying to hide?

Below, CarterMatt has the official The Code episode 10 synopsis for some other news when it comes to what’s ahead:

“Secret Squirrel” – When a Marine is accused of helping a terrorist escape from Guantanamo Bay, Abe and Harper believe that they have an open-and-shut case until they are mysteriously denied access to key evidence without explanation. Also, Trey and Maya attempt to get Rami reassigned back to their office, on THE CODE, Monday, July 8 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

At this point, we cannot say that we are altogether optimistic that The Code is going to be sticking around for another season; because of that, our philosophy is to just enjoy these remaining episodes for what they are. It’s a shame that CBS delayed them so much, given that it shook up the momentum right in the middle of the season. There wasn’t any need to do that.
