Reef Break episode 3 return date for Poppy Montgomery, cast
Because of Thursday being Independence Day, ABC is doing the predictable thing in deciding that it doesn’t benefit them all that much to air a new episode at that time. Instead, you’re going to have to wait until July 11 to check out “Buried Things,” which starts with a plane crash in the middle of a jungle. Is this the Reef Break – Lost crossover that no one expected? Probably not, but there are going to be some fun moments instead.
The joy that comes into Reef Break comes in the adventure of it all. This is a show that has a pristine setting, interesting characters, and a real willingness to have a good time when the situation calls for it. There’s going to be a lot of opportunities to live in the moment in this episode … even if there is some serious drama at the end of it courtesy of a search for Petra. Unless they’re found in a short period of time, there could be some dire consequences on the other side.
Below, CarterMatt offers up the Reef Break episode 3 synopsis with some additional details for what’s ahead:
When the wreckage of a plane crash is discovered in the jungle, it sparks the search for its passenger and a race to find Petra before it’s too late.
Another thing to hope for with Reef Break episode 3…
That the drama just finds a way to get some sort of ratings momentum going for it. The second new episode of the season slipped all the way down to a 0.3 rating in the 18-49 demographic, a pretty sizable drop from the premiere. It’s this sort of rating that leaves you concerned that Reef Break won’t get a chance to hit the waves for another season, though we recognize that there is a lot of time left and anything can happen in the interim.
Hiatuses are just hard, especially so early on in a show’s run. It can be so easy for a lot of viewers all over the country to remember that you’re even on the air.
