Fear the Walking Dead season 5 episode 6 preview: ‘The Little Prince’

Fear the Walking Dead

When Fear the Walking Dead season 5 episode 6 airs on AMC next week, it will bring with it more of “The Little Prince.” It’s clear how much this show is in love with this story at this point — it’s been referenced many a time! Also, it kinda feels appropriate that Fear the Walking Dead showrunners Ian B. Goldberg and Andrew Chambliss would take a page from their Once Upon a Time playbook and use old stories to find greater significance in their own.

Within this episode, you may see the story of Luciana and perhaps Dylan doing their part in order to reconnect to the rest of the group — this is what we saw just one week ago. Based on the fact that Morgan’s plane plan is now up in smoke, she is going to have to be her own hero. There isn’t any other obvious recourse unless someone either finds plenty of fuel or some friends who are willing to offer up some transport.

For some other information as to what’s coming, check out the full Fear the Walking Dead season 5 episode 6 synopsis below:

Facing impossible odds, Luciana and the group work together to tackle an impossible task while Morgan helps prevent disaster; an old friend presents Sarah, Charlie and Strand with a solution.

The “old friend’ part of this is the most curious since you gotta wonder who it could be. In general, a part of what has made Fear the Walking Dead so interesting this season is the mystery element of it all. There is so much we know, but then also so much that is still under wraps. It was only recently that we realized that there was a specific reason why those meddling kids were acting the way that they were!

Here’s the crazy thing to think about

There are only three more episodes back in the first half of this season — if the show does want to air both halves of season 5 before The Walking Dead proper returns, they’re going to have to move quite quickly. Think in terms of premiering the second half of the season at some point in August, and maybe you’d have a short little hiatus in the middle to catch your breath. We’d be fine with AMC going ahead and giving us the full 16-episode season at once, mostly so that we can stay immersed and not lose any momentum at all.
