Britain’s Got Talent season 14 premiere date hopes on ITV

Following tonight’s finale, do you find yourself curious in the Britain’s Got Talent season 14 premiere date? Then rest assured, since we’ve got all sorts of news within this article!

We don’t think that we really need to spend some sort of extensive amount of time wondering one way or another if the show is going to come back — it’s going to be back. This is an institution for British television, even with some of its odds quirks including the fact that it airs all of its live shows over the course of a single week. (Personally, we wish that there were three different rounds of live shows — the quarterfinals, the semifinals, and then the final. Yet, we also realize that this would take a much longer period of time.)

The next order of business is trying to figure out precisely when the series is going to be coming back on the air. We don’t think all that much is going to be changing here — think along the lines of spring 2020. This is just what makes the most sense given that ITV values its consistency. Auditions will likely film in the winter, and the application process is already in its early stages. That makes sense given that there’s a number of steps that make you go from point A to point B.

Will all of the judges return?

That’s absolutely a good question, given that America’s Got Talent did recently overdo some of its panel with Julianne Hough and Gabrielle Union replacing Mel B and Heidi Klum. We don’t always think that altering your panel is a good move — we’re still not sure that it was there, and ITV has something steady with David Walliams, Alesha Dixon, Amanda Holden, and Simon Cowell. They’ve all been on the show for so long at this point that it’s going to be sad if we actually end up seeing one or two of them leave. They’ve also got some great rapport — David’s been needling Simon for so long that the panel wouldn’t be the same without him.

If there is anything that the show needs to change, it’s probably just put some more effort in finding great variety acts — think dancers, danger acts, and acrobats. We love magicians, but it feels like the bulk of the program at this point is either magic acts or singers — there isn’t a whole lot that has been a lot in between.
