Agents of SHIELD season 6 episode 5 return date: ‘The Other Thing’
Agents of SHIELD will not be airing a new episode on Friday, June 7. Instead, you are going to be waiting until June 14 to check out “The Other Thing.” This is an episode featuring chaos, characters in jeopardy, and an expansion of the universe. Sure, we wanted to see Clark Gregg and Ming-Na Wen spend time together in some scenes, but we’re not exactly sure we expected to see it quite like this.
Anyhow, check out the Agents of SHIELD season 6 episode 5 synopsis with some other information all about what’s coming up next:
Sarge has May; Altarah has Daisy, Enoch and Simmons; and now, there are two planets that need saving.
Throughout this episode, we would expect that there would be some surprises … but also not resolution. While we do want answers on Sarge and to see this show move closer to whatever endgame (pun intended) we’re going to have here, why hurry? We’re going to have thirteen episodes in this season and that gives the entire cast and crew plenty of time.
As for what’s going to happen for Daisy, Enoch, and Simmons … shouldn’t teamwork make the dream work? We’ll use that silly expression however long that we can.
Here’s the other question
What do you do long-term when it comes to Gregg’s status on the show? Is Sarge really the sort of character who can stick around longer than a single season? We say all of this knowing that there’s a plan for there to be a season 7, but we don’t know what the actor’s status is going to be as a part of the cast. Is it possible that Phil Coulson finds his way back, or Sarge just sticks around for longer than a single season? We just don’t want to imagine this show without Clark, given that he is our SHIELD captain (even if he’s not playing the role right now) and his passion for this world is pretty unparalleled among the members of the cast.
Now, we just gotta hope that there’s a reasonable chance that we’ll get some closure on the subject this season. We’re not sure our heart can take another Gregg-related cliffhanger as we had following the end of season 5.
