Billions season 4 episode 11 preview: ‘Lamster’; Wendy’s judgment day

Billions season 4

Next week on Billions season 4 episode 11 (entitled “Lamster”), be prepared for a firecracker episode … and also one that puts Wendy at the center of the action, both in good and bad ways. Maybe being in front of the (metaphorical) firing squad is a good thing for the character, given that it should offer her an opportunity to really show her side and state her case. Yet, it’s also something that could end up having enormous consequences for her.

Four seasons into a show like Billions, the biggest thing that you can possibly hope for is that the story continues to change, shift, and evolve in ways that it has not before. At the moment, we’re very much pleased to say that this remains very much the case. There are few other shows out there who do quite what Billions can, and there is something rather great about what it is able to continuously pull off. For Wendy, we don’t think that she’s been in this situation before, and it’s one where she needs to pick her options carefully. So does Chuck Rhoades, especially since you’ve got Axe screaming at him that if he doesn’t make the specific decision that he wants, he is going to apply the pressure more than ever. He’s going to make his situation more “personal,” almost as though it was not somehow personal and dangerous before.

Curious in scoring some more insight into where things are going? Then check out the official Billions season 4 episode 11 synopsis now:

Wendy weighs her options. Senior makes a shocking discovery. Taylor offers an unlikely solution to help their business. Chuck launches an attack at an enemy. Axe contemplates a risky move.

Everything through the end of Billions season 4 is going to be akin to trying to make the dice land in the desired way. You can try to load them, but someone can change them out. Your entire fortune can fall into ruin. At the start of the idea, the idea was thematically presented of collaboration, at least in a different way than what we’ve seen before. To date, we are quite pleased to say that it has been quite fulfilling and we hope that it continues to be that way … but we also know that this relationship is going to continue to change, shift, and evolve in all directions. It wouldn’t be Billions if there was a state of relative constancy.

There are only two episodes left, so every move will build towards the finale — which, in turn, builds towards a season 5. At the moment, we’re very much happy that we’ve got that so we don’t have to think about it.
