Outlander season 5 notes: More Adso photos, Sam Heughan teases
Let’s begin here by continuing a conversation that we started yesterday in regards to Adso — the new feline addition to the show! The show’s official account put out a first photo of Claire’s new cat alongside Sam Heughan on Thursday; now, Sam via his Instagram has put out one that is a little bit more ferocious in its presentation. We almost wish that this was the first photo released for the sake of humor. (Who would want to mess with this cat? Honestly, it’s more appropriate for how a cat would probably feel about being perched on someone’s shoulder long enough for someone to take photos.)
Adso was probably introduced recently to the show’s production, and we imagine he’ll have a role scattered throughout the upcoming episodes. We don’t think he’s going to have the same consistent presence that we had with Young Ian’s beloved dog Rollo, but he should still have a role to play in the story — and for Claire in her surgical practice.
What else is happening in the world of filming?
Sam does have over on his
a few other various updates from the series’ set, including glimpses of the set and some of the stuff the cast and crew may be working on — you can see a lot of wagons in there, and apparently today, Sam’s doing something on horseback. We know that there were some night shoots a little bit earlier this week, but it seems at least that some stuff now is being done in the daytime as well. We’re nearing the end now of another long week in Outlander, but it’s clear that producers are throwing a wide array of fun stuff at the cast and crew. Hopefully, they’re getting to do a wide array of fun stuff, and we’re certainly stoked to see what season 5 will bring to the table … though we’re waiting many more months in order to see it.
