Chicago Fire season 7 finale spoilers: What craziness is coming?

Next week, Chicago Fire season 7 is going to be coming to a close, and it will be doing so with what is going to be a crazy, intense, and dramatic installment from start to finish. This is a chance to see Severide and Kidd hopefully inch closer to an endgame that will make fans happy. Meanwhile, it could also be an opportunity to see some further development when it comes to one Sylvie Brett. We’re hoping that this episode gives us a great chance to see a few new surprises, twists, and turns … and also possibly an epic cliffhanger because few people do that better than executive producer Derek Haas.

Below, CarterMatt offers up the official Chicago Fire season 7 finale synopsis with some more news as to what’s coming up next:

05/22/2019 (09:00PM – 10:00PM) (Wednesday) : Severide and Kidd continue to investigate Benny’s old arson case, unexpected news leads Brett to ponder a big decision and all hell breaks loose as the season concludes. TV-14 DLV

It’s those final words in the synopsis that are probably going to be eye-catching to most people out there — “all hell breaks loose” is enough to make you gasp. Last season, the show went a little bit with the emotional cliffhanger as Dawson made the decision that she did to leave. Had Monica Raymund come back for season 7, that cliffhanger probably wouldn’t be as hard as it seems now. The truth is, you have to go back a couple of years to the last time that Chicago Fire had that last big cliffhanger that had you shaking your fist at the heavens and wondering why in the world we have to deal with that. This could be the time to pull something like that off.

Here is probably the greatest irony we can share in all of this — we know that there are actors leaving both Chicago PD and Chicago Med, but as far as we know, the Chicago Fire cast could be staying intact. Yet, this show may still find a way to have the craziest cliffhanger that we’ve seen so far, mostly because Chicago Fire is going to Chicago Fire and they love to find a way to make your hair stand on end in these sort of high-intensity situations.

Hopefully, we do have a little bit more information to share when it comes to the Chicago Fire finale soon, but as of right now the initial message is clear: Be worried, since this is an episode that could give you some pretty legitimate reasons to gasp.
