What lies ahead on the Legends of Tomorrow season 4 finale entitled “Hey World!”? Well, it starts in part with the image above. Ever since the trailer was first unveiled for the second part of season 4, we’ve wondered what exactly is going on with seeing Sara, Nate, and Gary dressed as Supergirl, the Green Arrow, and The Flash. Basically, it has to do with their latest scheme of trying to save the world … and also working to make sure that they get the attention of a lot of other people. After all, masquerading as Supergirl may get a little bit more headline-grabbing than running around as the White Canary.
Of course, the part of this that is incredibly funny to us is the simple fact that this is Legends of Tomorrow yet again not-so-subtly nodding to the fact that they’re the lesser-known superhero show on The CW. This is them basically using the other series within the Arrowverse in order to get a little bit of adding attention to themselves just as the characters are doing the same thing. Through this finale, there will be some big discoveries that are made — beyond that, there’s also going to be a chance in order to see the fabric of the show in some way change. Remember that the Legends tend to have a rotating panel year in and year out; at this point, it’s hard to imagine really being in a situation where that changes all that much.
For some more news all about what’s coming, we suggest that you check out the official Legends of Tomorrow season 4 finale synopsis now:
SEASON FINALE – While on a mission to find Ray (Brandon Routh), Constantine (Matt Ryan) and Nora (Courtney Ford) discover Neron’s evil plan. Nate (Nick Zano) convinces the Legends to think outside the box and suggests a dangerous plan to unite magical creatures and people to save the world. Caity Lotz, Dominic Purcell, Maisie Richardson-Sellers, Tala Ashe, Jes Macallan and Ramona Young also star. Kevin Mock directed the episode written by Phil Klemmer & Keto Shimizu (#416). Original airdate 5/20/2019.
This is an episode that obviously carries with it huge expectations, mostly because the season 3 finale contained arguably one of the weirdest/most-wonderful things in recent television history in that Beebo – Mallus fight scene. That’s obviously not the easiest thing in the world to match, but we’ll sure give the writers a nice round of applause for trying … provided, of course, that they have the imagination or their inner weird side that they are ready and willing to embrace. We’ll get our answers (or at least some of them) within the span of a week.
