What does lie ahead when it comes to Law & Order: SVU and the season 20 finale? This is something that is coming on NBC next week, and at the center of it is none other than Rob Miller. The guy’s out on bail, he’s trying to get away with a serious offense, and he’s doing his best to terrorize Olivia Benson in just about every way that he possibly can. This is not a guy who does anything lightly — he’s got money, power, and we certainly think that he is out for blood and will do whatever he can in order to ensure that he gets vengeance and precisely what he wants.

Unfortunately for us as a loyal SVU viewer, we’re pretty certain that what he wants it the destruction of Olivia Benson in just about any shape or form that he can get it.

Curious now in a little bit more insight all about what could be coming up next? Then we simply suggest that you check out the official SVU season 20 finale synopsis below:

05/16/2019 (10:00PM – 11:00PM) (Thursday) : SEASON FINALE – When a teenager is found dead in the Hudson River, Lt. Benson (Mariska Hargitay) suspects Rob Miller (guest star Titus Welliver) is behind the mysterious death but can’t prove it. Despite having only circumstantial evidence, ADA Stone (Philip Winchester) takes the case to court before Miller can destroy more lives. Also starring Ice T, Kelli Giddish and Peter Scanavino. Also guest starring Callie Thorne (Nikki Staines), Jillian Rose (Attica Staines), Aida Turturro (Judge Catano) and Richard Kind (William Biegel). TV-14 L, V

There is a little bit of value for Benson being able to prove that Miller is responsible for this teenager’s death. If they can prove that he did it, it all but guarantees that he gets sent to prison and following this, that there’s no real option for bail. With a strong enough case, it doesn’t really matter just how much Miller may try to fight it. They can nail him, and nail him once and for all.

One other thing worth noting about this episode…

It’s going to be the last one for Winchester as Peter Stone. He’s only been with the show for a season and a half but apparently, he’s still not going to have a chance to stick around. The real question that remains is how he will depart and, following that, who SVU will bring in to be the new prosecutor. It is a role that, at the moment, seems to be thrown around all over the place.

Given that SVU already has a firm season 21 renewal, that’s at least something to celebrate.
