Criminal Minds season 15: Cast prepares for end of filming
As you can see — and as you probably know by now — this cast is a family. They’ve lived together, they’ve loved together, and they certainly have worked some extremely long hours together. Working on this show has been an incredible grind, especially for some of those people who have been there from the very beginning.

So during these final days of filming, we certainly expect that a number of the cast members are going to hold each other close and reminisce on the journey that they’ve been on — one that has certainly been long and hard, and absolutely one with a wide array of different twists and turns, as well. We’ve seen some of these characters go through a great deal, and the final season for many of them could be the absolute worst.
For Matthew Gray Gubler in particular, his character of Spencer Reid could and really should be at the forefront moving into the start of the season. He has to figure out exactly where things stand when it comes to his relationship with JJ and, beyond that, possibly meet a new love interest separate from her. We’re also going to see the return of Jane Lynch as his mother, and we also imagine that there is some dramatic stuff coming via Everett Lynch, the show’s Big Bad and someone who we’re sure is out to cause all sorts of chaos for everyone he comes into contact with over time.
Even though there are only ten episodes during the final season, be prepared for the writers to pour just about everything that they can into these. We’ll probably get a chance to see a number of notable, powerful moments, the sort of stuff for each BAU agent that sticks with viewers for some time after the episodes air.
