‘The X Factor’ USA: New preview featuring Justin Bieber, Scooter Braun

When Justin Bieber comes to help advise L.A. Reid at the next phase of “The X Factor” competition this week, let’s just say that he is going to be bringing a little help himself along for the ride.

In the video below, you can see the 18-year old superstar joined by none other than his own manager Scooter Braun as the two sit alongside L.A. as they hear some singers ultimately battle it out for their lives in the competition. Both Reid and Braun are in ways responsible for Bieber having a career today, and recently Scooter has also brought in and worked with such acts as Carly Rae Jepsen (with a major assist from Bieber here) along with Korean “Gangnam Style” sensation PSY. In other words? These are people that you really want to impress, as Braun in particular is someone who has made a star out of people of all ages. Justin was barely a teenager when his career started to go places; meanwhile, Jepsen is 26 while PSY is 34. This is especially valuable when you remember that the competition is divided up into age groups this season, since Demi Lovato and Britney Spears may be at a disadvantage here in that they have not mentored people of all ages on a grand scale.

There is not necessarily any one established favorite to win the season so far, but we have a feeling that some people to watch out for include teenager Diamond White, group Emblem3, rap / rock artist David Correy, and authentic country artist Tate Stevens. Whatever group L.A. is apparently assigned, the preview below makes it look as though he is not that happy about it.

Just for the record, Lovato will be helped by Nick Jonas while Spears has will.i.am and Cowell Marc Anthony.
