Suits season 9 filming officially underway, per Gabriel Macht
For some verification of this very thing, all you have to do is check out what series star Gabriel Macht (Harvey Specter) had to say in a post on Instagram, where we are pleased to report he is still continuing his habit of hashtagging random words. (It’s kind of a Macht trademark at this point and we kinda hope that it never ends.) Given that the final season is just a run of ten episodes, it is fair to expect that this is going to be a far shorter window than we’ve seen before, but this is an opportunity in order to get closure to one of the most important cable dramas in recent years … let alone some of the characters.

We have a feeling that for most, enthusiasm is just as high, if not higher, than it’s ever been. After all, Harvey and Donna finally got together at the end of last season, and our expectation moving forward is that the two will at least try to make something more work for them. They’ve arguably known each other better than anyone for some time now, but working together and having a personal relationship has its own fair share of challenges. Luckily, they know a thing or two about stress after all they’ve been through at the firm — and we’re sure that there is SO much more coming because there always is.
Beyond just Harvey and Donna, we still remain optimistic that we’ll get to see Patrick J. Adams at least one more time as Mike Ross. Given that the guy is, at least in our mind, a foundation for this show, it just wouldn’t feel right to have a final season without at least some sort of cameo from him. It’s just a way to make this picture a little more whole in the end.
