‘The X Factor’ UK: Gary Barlow sends final message to Carolynne Poole

Even though it has now been almost 24 hours since “The X Factor” came to one of its most controversial endings ever, it is still just about all Britain is talking about (save for maybe “Downton Abbey”) when it comes to entertainment. So what is one of the people most involved in the scandal saying now? Well, let’s just say that Gary Barlow has cooled down a little bit after Louis Walsh opted to send the vote between Rylan Clark and Carolynne Poole to deadlock; a move that ultimately caused the show’s sole country singer to be sent home.

In a new post on Twitter following his move to walk off the “X Factor” stage during the show, here is what the popular Take That member had to say:

“you did yourself proud. Hold your head high”

Poole has already vowed to take some of her musical talents overseas to America, where she can work on some of her music in a place where country is really embraced far more than it is in Great Britain. However, we imagine that she still does have an uphill battle before her to make the sort of music she wants given how competitive Nashville can be. However, there have been some stranger things that have happened.

Really, the biggest issue we have with Rylan staying in the competition is this: while Carolynne’s fan following could have bounced back this coming week, we really don’t see him avoiding the bottom two again. In other words, what we really are looking at here is a situation of the show’s producers prolonging what is the inevitable: this guy is not going to be someone who goes far in the competition.

Are you still upset over Poole’s elimination?
