‘Sons of Anarchy’ season 5 spoilers: New photos from episode 5
Thursday night’s new episode of “Sons of Anarchy” is inching closer to airing, and even though we don’t know too much more about “Orca Shrugged” (outside of the fact that we are completely in love with its name), we do have at least a few more images that prove that following the rather awkward funeral for Opie (which featured everything from a fight between Tara, Gemma, and Dora to Jax and Nero setting up their new business), SAMCRO is going to really waste no time at all getting back to what they do best: trying to own the streets of Charming and get down to business.
Expect to see the beginnings of Jax’s new operation with Nero this week, as the motorcycle club will vote to find themselves working within the brothel business. (Anything to pull in money, right?) We’re also sure that we will see plenty of ramifications from both Gemma and Tara concerning what they did, and Damon Pope is still going to be looming over everything. How do you get rid of a man that is in many ways untouchable? We have compared Pope to Gus Fring from “Breaking Bad” in the past, and the comparison here now seems more valid than ever. This is not going to be a man that you can take down in one episode; it is going to take time and a rigorous amount of planning, and we’ll be lucky to see him fall by the end of this season.
Production on the season finale for the series is set to begin on Monday, which means that by the time the next couple of episodes will air, just about everything will be in post-production and the cast and crew will all know how this story ties up.

The new episode is TUESDAY, not Thursday. FFS.
For Pope, its almost OBVIOUS that it will be a season long thing, maybe even two seasons, as we’ve seen with previous seasons, the ATF show down lasted 3 seasons. The League lasted almost a whole season, the Cartel/CIA are still at large tho they aren’t that big of a threat, they are still there waiting to drop the RICO case on the Sons whenever they need to. So with the whole Pope n Co, who knows how long that would be, but one thing is obvious it will take up all this season, if you thought anything less, you need some SOA History to catch up on lol.
For the escort business with Nero, its not just anything to pull in money. It’s about setting up the club to go legit once this Drug/Gun running stuff is out of the way. It’s been said in the show since season 1, Jax tried to do this a long time ago, but Clay didn’t want it, nor need the Nords well more like the League showing punishment. Its all about preparation. Come on man/girl whatever you are. If you’re gonna feed us some highlights/news/spoilers/or whatever it is you are trying to accomplish here. Give us some stuff we don’t know about, and most importantly, do some Sons of Anarchy research, by your article, I can tell you don’t know much of the shows history. but overall good stuff.
@dionnelaurie it depends on what time zone you are on, SOA shows every TUESDAY @ 10PM Eastern Time, 9PM CT, 8PM MT and 7PM PT. or whatever it is you’re watching it on, check it’s programming schedule. Could be move an hour or so than it’s originally on FX
