‘Downton Abbey’ season 3: Who wants on board now?

We understand why everyone wants to be on board “Downton Abbey” these days. It’s a popular show with viewers not just in the United Kingdom, but also around the world; not only that, but it is also a show that routinely received critical acclaim, and was one of many winners at the Primetime Emmy Awards last weekend.

So who wants to be on board the show next? Let’s just say that it is someone who has already found a great deal of success courtesy of the “Twilight” franchise. Speaking as per Bang Showbiz, Anna Kendrick (who is also a part of the new film “Pitch Perfect”) had the following to say both about this show along with the “Game of Thrones” franchise:

“I just watched ‘Game of Thrones’ and the first two seasons of ‘Downton Abbey’. I have the most inappropriate fantasies about being on those shows – there’s not a part for a tiny American girl in either, but I can dream.”

She also told Britain’s version of ELLE Magazine that she tends to have cravings for certain English food whenever she travels across the pond to the show’s home country of Britain:

“Every time I go to England the first thing I do is have tea. I crave it to the point where I panic, ‘What am I going to do when I get home? I don’t have a kettle.’ But then the craving disappears – it’s like something’s pumped into the air.”

There is a new episode of “Downton Abbey” coming up in the United Kingdom on Sunday (but sadly not on PBS until January).
