‘True Blood’ season 6 spoilers: Meet some more of Bon Temps’ new faces

Following the reveal that Rutger Hauer is set to play a character who could very well be the “big bad” on the upcoming sixth season of “True Blood,” we now have some more news surrounding some of the characters that are going to be turning up soon.

According to a report from E! News, here are three more people who you can expect to see out and about the Louisiana community of Bon Temps in some capacity this season:

Ben – Is this going to be our replacement for Hoyt? On the surface, this new series regular appears to just be another good-hearted guy from the south, with the sole difference between him and Jason’s former friend being that there could be some sparks between him and Sookie.

The Governor of Texas – Yes, it is rather funny that the character that the show is hoping to create here is a version of real-life Texas Governor Rick Perry. It’s also notable that he wants to cause all sorts of trouble when it comes to war.

The Governor’s daughter – Don’t expect to see thy typical sort of political daughter here. This character does not have a name just yet, but is described for being tough despite coming across as a little bit timid at first. Both she and the Governor are going to be recurring faces throughout the season, and it’s possible that they could be a part of a new vampires vs. human war that was started off with the actions of the Authority last season.

Do you find any of these new characters so far to be particularly interesting?
