SEAL Team season 2 episode 16 preview: Davis’ new chapter & more
Let’s kick things off with Davis, largely because it’s such an ambitious storyline for this show to take on. We’ve gone basically from being worried about her future on the show to being excited, given that the promo tonight offered up a slight indication that we’re going to see more of her via OCS — you’ll learn more in terms of how she trains and how she handles that taxing environment. It’s no joke entering any sort of program that’s different than the norm, but this is the military. It’s designed to push you to make you the very best. The country depends on you for that reason — you’re elevated and you’re special. We’re expecting some exciting stuff for Toni Trucks the next few weeks, or however long this storyline remains present on the show.
As for Bravo Team, they’re going to find themselves in the midst of some surprising territory. They’re going to be in that far-from-amazing situation where they think that they are okay, only to realize after the fact that things can turn on a dime and problems can arise out of nowhere. Based on the promo, some of these troubles are going to be coming via the presence of some surprise Chinese forces that could cause some problems for them — so much so that this is a storyline that could last longer than a single episode! We know that the Philippines is going to be a part of this show for the near future as SEAL Team shifts around their format once more. The unpredictability of it is in a way enticing as if you’re watching the show without any press-release knowledge, you probably don’t know entering a mission how long it will last. That’s probably an accurate reflection of what life is like for actual Bravo Team members out in the real world.
For some more news now on what’s ahead, we suggest that you check out the official SEAL Team season 2 episode 16 synopsis:
“Dirt, Dirt, Gucci” – As Bravo Team prepares for what they expect to be a “cushy” deployment with the luxury of staying in a hotel in the Philippines, Jason tries to find a way to pay for Emma’s college, on SEAL TEAM, Wednesday, April 3 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.
As most people out there know, paying for your kid’s college isn’t exactly easy — or at least this is the case when you’re not a rich celebrity embroiled in scandal. (That fulfills our topical-joke quota for the week.) Jason’s gonna struggle with this, but we feel like there’s going to be a way. It may just be a joint effort — he can get some money together and then Emma herself will have to find a way at the same time.
