The Blacklist season 6 episode 13 spoilers: Stacy Keach to appear!

Later this month, The Blacklist will be bringing you yet another two-hour event! That means twice the Reddington, twice the Liz Keen, and twice the colorful characters. That also includes, for the sake of the first March 29 episode in “Robert Vesco,” none other than the incredible Stacy Keach. He’s appeared on a number of other shows as of late including NCIS: New Orleans and Blue Bloods; here, he’ll be taking on a role that actually does have a few things in common with Cassius Pride. For starters, he’s a conman, and he’s going to have plenty of enemies. The big difference here is that he’s a little higher in stature within the criminal world.  Vesco is the sort of guy who’s got posters out there with his name on them. People know his name, and they know what he can do.

In the world of The Blacklist, this is always appreciated. While we enjoy the villains who lurk in the shadows as much as the next one, we appreciate the ones who are a little upfront in their declarations of “hey you, this is precisely who I am.”

Below, CarterMatt has the official The Blacklist season 6 episode 13 synopsis with a few more details — but we gotta warn you now that this may give away the results of Friday’s new episode.

03/29/2019 (08:00PM – 09:00PM) (Friday) : Red (James Spader) and the Task Force hunt for legendary fugitive Robert Vesco (guest star Stacy Keach), one of history’s most notorious conmen. Meanwhile, Samar (Mozhan Marno) makes a life changing decision.

We guess it shouldn’t be all that much of a “I can’t believe it!” spoiler that Raymond Reddington doesn’t die midway through the season of a lethal injection — that was probably given away by the fact that James Spader has a contract for a seventh season. (Unless he showed up as a Reddington clone or a ghost haunting Liz Keen’s brain, they had to find a way to get this man back in action!) We think that the larger mystery of Friday’s new episode is still preserved: How Raymond pulls a rabbit out of that famous hat and cheats death when he is mere seconds away from the needle going in. We’ll find out more about that on Friday.

Then, there is the subject of Samar, who’s been on this heartbreaking journey with Aram as of late when it comes to her future. Aphasia has hit her hard — it’s limiting her abilities in the field and some of the harshest consequences could still be to come if her condition deteriorates. That’s why there are hard, rip-hour-heart-out decisions to be made … and we want to see her find a way in order to figure this out, with Aram’s help of course. They are stronger working as a team, though her insecurity and fear may have been a driving force for much of this season.
