The CW sets Supernatural season 14, The Flash season 5 finale dates & more
Before diving in, we should note that shows like The 100, iZombie, and the all-new In the Dark are not included simply because they haven’t premiered yet! While we’re sure CW executives think ahead, they can’t project specifics for the summer this early. These days are all for shows currently in the midst of their run, even ones like Legends of Tomorrow that feel like they’ve been off the air forever. (Consider this your customary reminder that we miss the Legends dearly at the moment.)
All the times listed below are Eastern, so adjust accordingly depending on where you are in the world.
Monday, March 18
9:00 – Black Lightning
Wednesday, March 20
9:00 – All American
Note that of all of the fall shows mentioned here, All American is the only one still in limbo without a renewal. We’re crossing our fingers for a season 2, but the renewal could come down to its long-term DVR and Netflix performance. That’s at least the indication we have right now.
Thursday, March 28
9:00 – Legacies
Friday, April 5
8:00 – Crazy Ex-Girlfriend (series finale)
At the conclusion of this episode, there’s going to be a chance to see a concert special featuring some of the best songs from the show!
Tuesday, April 23
9:00 – Roswell, New Mexico
The fate of Roswell is also still in limbo but only premiered earlier this year. At the time The CW did its bulk renewal weeks ago, there wasn’t enough of this show to be able to determine its future fate.
Thursday, April 25
8:00 – Supernatural
Why so early? Well, Supernatural is only doing 20 episodes this season, mostly because after doing a decade and a half’s worth of shows (more or less) Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles deserve time to take a nap.
Monday, May 13
9:00 – Arrow
If you missed it, yesterday it was announced that season 8 of Arrow will be the final season, and run for only ten episodes as a whole … we’re still sad over the thought of the flagship show coming to a close.
Tuesday, May 14
8:00 – The Flash
Wednesday, May 15
8:00 – Riverdale
Last night, the show honored Luke Perry with a title card following the latest new episode.
Sunday, May 19
8:00 – Supergirl
9:00 – Charmed
Monday, May 20
8:00 – Legends of Tomorrow
Want to know when the show is actually coming back on the air? We have that info for you here.
Friday, May 24
8:00 – Dynasty
Is it weird that The CW is airing a new episode of Dynasty after the conclusion of sweeps? Sure, but we’ve also seen via their renewal of Dynasty (one of the lowest-rated shows that they have) that there’s no immediate concern to get it better ratings in the first place. Also, The 100 and iZombie will for sure carry over into the summer.
