SEAL Team season 2 episode 14 spoilers: Sonny, Davis’ big decision

SEAL Team season 2

We know you’ve been super-patient for some time for news on SEAL Team season 2 episode 14. After all, CBS has certainly made you wait for it! It’s been weeks since we last got a glimpse of Bravo Team on the air and it was just earlier this week that it was first confirmed that the show is coming back a week later than originally planned. At first, it was going to be on Wednesday, March 13; now, as previously reported, it is going to be March 20.

Will the wait be worthwhile? You’ll be the judge of that, but there are certainly some hopeful signs. For example, this is an episode that will give you both a secret mission with a lot of danger and also a lot of important stuff for Sonny and Davis! Their relationship has expanded throughout season 2 but they are now at a point where they need to start contemplating what exactly they want to be for each other moving forward. For us watching SEAL Team at home, there is probably not any reason to hurry a decision along — just remember that there are nine episodes left on the season! This isn’t something that the characters know; they exist within their own world and make their decisions based on timing and where their heart lies at a given moment. It’s stressful enough working on missions; having a romantic attachment to someone else within the military can add to that, or it can give you something more to fight for. Both can be possible, but the proper context and the right circumstance are key.

For those keeping track, we did mention a secret mission earlier. The synopsis below gives you a further sense of that:

“What Appears to Be” – Bravo Team works with the Congolese Army on a covert mission to capture the head of a rebel militia group. Also, Jason argues with Emma about college, and Sonny and Davis make a big decision about their future, on SEAL TEAM, Wednesday, March 20 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

The Jason storyline within this episode is a key one, largely because it’s a reminder that David Boreanaz’s character hasn’t quite figured anything out … and nor did we expect him to at this point. He’s still trying to figure out how to be a proper parent and how he can function with Alana gone. College is a tough decision and Emma, of course, should be looking to her parents for guidance. Jason needs to be receptive to her ideas, but also reasonably firm if said ideas are too outlandish. They have to find a happy medium here, and we know that for Jason (someone used to a very stringent sort of command in the field), this is not always the easiest thing away from it. Consider this another part of the learning curve; many more tests will likely come down the line.
