The Passage episode 7 preview: ‘You are Like the Sun’

This is the first time that you’re going to see it without a new episode of The Resident on the air before it, which probably means that the ratings risk for this episode is high. does the show have its own, independent audience? Meanwhile, it also going to be about important bonds, new powers, and also Horace Guilder getting a dangerous amount of control. It’s an eventful episode coming up, but almost every episode here has to be when you consider just how short this season is as a whole.

Brad and Lila flash back through their history together as they plan to save Amy. The Secretary of Defense gives Horace Guilder (guest star James Le Gros) full authority over Project NOAH, leaving Sykes and Richards terrified for what his plan of attack might entail. Meanwhile, the bond between Amy and Carter is stronger than ever, as he prepares her for Fanning’s grand plan, and Lear fights to help Elizabeth before it’s too late in the all-new “You Are Like The Sun” episode of THE PASSAGE airing Monday, Feb. 25 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. We love the title for this episode — depending on you look at it, it could either be very complimentary (a la “you are my everything”) or somewhat terrifying, when you think about some of the subject matter at the heart of the series.
The latest ratings update
How is the series performing overall? Well, we do think that there’s some good news to share with that. This past episode drew a 0.9 rating in the 18-49 demographic, which is more or less even with what the series ended up getting before. This is the sort of thing that should have you hopeful here entering next week … but as we mentioned, this is going to be the real test. If the numbers do stay steady the rest of the way, we think that there is a pretty good chance of a season 2.
