The Resident season 2 episode 16 return date for Matt Czuchry, cast
The unfortunate news is that alas, there will be no new installment of the show next week. That’s a bummer, but we also recognize that we can’t get too greedy, given the fact that we’ve had new episodes for the better part of the past several weeks as a whole. It’s been a nice little run, and now, we’re going to have a quick breather. All things considered, it’s not as though this hiatus is altogether super-long. The next new installment is going to be coming on Monday, March 4, and its title is “Adverse Events.” The story of Quovadis will still be going on, but there may be a few more surprise wrinkles that you can throw in there.

The surgeons are determined to shut down Quovadis after Henry Barnett (guest star Evan Whitten) almost loses his life due to a device malfunction. As Mina and Devon set out to find the truth, Bell, AJ and Conrad work to save the life of Chastain’s favorite custodian, Simon (guest star Dan Lauria). Meanwhile, one of Alec’s old patients ends up in the ER, forcing him to question if he made the right choice to leave his old practice for Nic’s clinic in the all-new “Adverse Events” episode of THE RESIDENT airing Monday, March 4 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. On the other side of this there are still six more episodes of the show to air this season, and it does feel fair to expect another hiatus at some point in order to keep the show on the air until May. Beyond that, we’re sure that Fox would like to have a few episodes on tap to air alongside 9-1-1 when that show returns with its second half of season 2 a little bit later this year. After all, we know that this is one of the most successful shows that the network has as a whole.
