Let’s kick off this Arrow article with the bad news — season 7 episode 14 is not airing tonight on The CW. To help make up for it, we do at least have some more information on what lies ahead!
We know that the wait until March 4 is going to be a pretty long one, especially when you think about the nature of some of the recent reveals when it comes to Blackstar and the departure of Curtis. We’re gearing up for a little bit of a new era for the show, and it’s one that could bring a lot of interesting drama and intrigue. This particular upcoming episode is entitled “Brothers & Sisters,” and we have to imagine that a big part of this is going to revolve around Oliver and Emiko Queen. It’s hard for the story not to.
Below, check out the official Arrow season 7 episode 14 synopsis for some other insight:
DIGGLE AND LYLA DEPLOY THE GHOST INITIATIVE – After months of covertly pursuing Dante, Diggle (David Ramsey) and Lyla (guest star Audrey Marie Anderson) finally have a solid lead on the elusive terrorist, so they deploy the ARGUS Ghost Initiative to apprehend him. Meanwhile, Oliver (Stephen Amell) tries to bond with Emiko (Sea Shimooka). Marcus Stokes directed the episode written by Rebecca Bellotto & Jeane Wong (#714). Original airdate 3/4/2019.
Isn’t it nice to have such a prominent story for both Diggle and Lyla both at the moment? While it’s not altogether clear just yet where this story will lead, we certainly are in the midst of some exciting times for that character. In general, though, we’d say that this is a fairly exciting time for the show with some of the mysteries and relationships that are out there. While we do think that the story has been at times a little bit more grim than it really needed to be, that doesn’t take away from the fact that the show has delivered on some of that darker material. We just have to cross our fingers at the moment and hope for a pretty-good payoff on the other side of it.
